Cystic ureteral distension and renal pelvis dilation in the right kidney (early stage hydronephrosis). The poor ureteral drainage may be due to congenital malformation and torsion. Note that the ureter is deformed, exhibiting a diverticulus in its distal third. The left kidney is normal.
