Hemilaminectomy between the T11 and T12 vertebrae in a 10-year-old Cocker Spaniel. This kind of surgical procedure consists of the removal of a portion of the vertebral arch and is usually used as treatment for conditions causing compression of the spinal cord. In this animal’s case, a Hansen type II discal hernia in the interventioned area.
