Osteochondrosis dissecans lesions on the atlanto-occipital joint of a 10-month-old horse. Note the loss of cartilage fragments. On the right, the right tibial-tarsic joint shows fragility of the central sulcus of the femoral surface. This horse suffered several violent falls as a result of an undetermined neurologic condition.
