Seminoma - dog

Seminoma in an 11-year-old Poodle. The testicle appears hypertrophied and deformed, no vestige of normal testicular parenchyma being left in the organ. A cystic cavity can also be seen, full of milky fluid, within the neoplastic parenchyma. The contralateral testicle appears atrophied. Seminomas are tumours arising in the seminal cells, from which sperm cells originate.
