Three stillborn Bulldog puppies. All foetuses have developed until about 56 days of gestation and were born several days before completing normal in utero development. One of the foetuses exhibited anasarca with particular incidence in the cervical region, head and limbs, appearing deformed in comparison with the rest of the litter. This foetus’ lesions are compatible with maternal infection by canine parvovirus type 1.
