Metastatic hemangiosarcoma in a castrated 10-year-old Siberian Husky. Several haemorrhagic nodules can be seen, varying in size and bulging from the surface of the liver and lungs. The nodules corresponded, microscopically, to neoplastic proliferations of spindle cells originating in the blood vessels, which were also present in the spleen and mesentery (not seen in the image). The primary tumour was located in the right atrium (not visible in the image).
