Necrotic-fibrinoid enteritis and typhlitis in a Black Swan. Note the presence of several plaque-like lesions throughout the intestinal tract. These lesions, rough and yellowish in colour, correspond to necrosis of the intestinal mucosa with deposition of fibrinous exudate. The ceca present intense congestion but maintain the smooth, regular profile of their mucosa.
