Distension of the oesophagus and pyloric stenosis in a 4-year-old female Yorkshire Terrier. In this case, the pyloric stenosis was only functional, given the absence of gastric wall changes. The distension of the distal third of the oesophagus may have arisen from gastric intolerance to food, caused by the stenosis.
