Abnormal shape of the heart of a 7-month-old puppy in a case of aortic stenosis. The heart’s elongated shape is a consequence of the marked concentric hypertrophy of the left ventricle. The degree of ventricular thickening is quite evident in the right-side image. Below, a cannula indicates the point of stenosis.
