Anaplastic oligodendroglioma in a 4-year-old Podengo dog. This animal exhibited cerebral oedema, with significant blunting of the cerebral convolutions. A 1cm gelatinous mass was identified in the right frontal lobe. Oligodendrogliomas consist in neoplastic proliferations of oligodendrocytes, the cells responsible for producing the myelin sheaths of the axons in the Central Nervous System.
